year. Harpur Palate affords graduate students in the Creative Writing Program valuable hands-on editorial
experience in publishing, management, and team-building development. Undergraduate
students are invited to participate in the editorial process through a special course,
Editing a Literary Magazine. This practicum offers undergraduates valuable, high-impact
learning experiences in the professional literary publishing world through their work
on the editing, management, production, promotion, and other facets of a contemporary
digital literary magazine.
Alycia CalvertHarpur Palate Editor-in-Chief Alycia Calvert is a neurodivergent emerging writer and translator. She is working on her PhD at
绿帽社. She graduated with her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from
University of Nevada in Las Vegas in 2022. She was recently shortlisted for the Writer鈥檚
Rebel Flash Fiction Competition, and her stories have appeared in The Hunger Journal, Banshee Journal, Pyre Magazine, Hecate, and elsewhere. Her lush little stories blur the line between poetry and fiction
