COrE Internship
This two-semester internship (fall 2025 and spring 2026) offered through the CDCI program provides students the opportunity to intern with the Office of Student Conduct (including participation in a one-hour weekly class and 60 internship hours per semester) for 2 credits each semester. OSC seeks applicants that are self-motivated, ambitious and eager to help educate 绿帽社 students about the student conduct process, conflict resolution, decision-making skills and community awareness. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn about conflict coaching, active listening/communication, develop effective marketing tools, participate as a Level I hearing board member and collaborate with campus partners/student groups. Candidates must show willingness to be proactive and creative with the continued education and outreach efforts focusing on facilitating workshops, presenting general student conduct information and hosting/tabling events.

Conduct Hearing Board Members
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to volunteer with the Office of Student Conduct as Conduct Hearing Board members. Conduct Hearing Board members are essential in providing a fair and equitable hearing process for students. Members comprehensively adjudicate cases by hearing testimony, reviewing evidence and issuing a recommendation of responsibility and outcome when appropriate. Board members are provided training and can create their own schedule and serve as often as their availability permits. This position is invaluable and helps to uphold the mission of the University.
The student Conduct Hearing Board application process for the 2024-2025 academic year is now closed. Please check back in September 2025 for for the opening of our 2025-2026 process.

Graduate Student Involvement Opportunities
Each year, the Office of Student Conduct employs two Graduate Assistants who can support the process for Level I conduct cases by reviewing incident reports, creating cases, following up with students who are navigating the Level I process and serve as a hearing board advisor. In this role, the graduate assistant will provide outreach and education focusing on the student conduct process and facilitating workshops/educational interventions.
The graduate assistant should feel comfortable to take the initiative and network with campus constituents to identify opportunities for outreach/education efforts. The individual in this position should be motivated and eager to educate others by providing presentations, facilitating training sessions and workshops, and tabling throughout campus. The graduate assistant will work directly with the Office of Student Conduct Community Outreach and Education (COrE) interns for the academic year.
The individual in this role will foster and support an inclusive campus climate that appreciates and respects inclusion and diversity values consistent with the mission of the University. This assistantship includes a base stipend for the academic year of $12,200, paid biweekly. This position is represented by the Graduate Student Employees Union (GSEU) and the stipend includes all potential union-negotiated raises applicable for the academic year. Twenty hours of work per week is expected.

Educational Workshops
The Office of Student Conduct presents (change to offers) five different workshops for students to reflect, learn, engage, and gain skills. These presentations are offered throughout the semester for individual students to attend. Interested in attending a Spring 2026 pre-scheduled workshop? -
We are also available for faculty/staff and student groups to request a presentation to their class or club/organization and staff. Interested in a presentation for your class, staff or student group? please complete at least two weeks before the preferred date and someone will contact you.
The educational workshops we offer are described below.
Know the Code
This presentation will provide an overview of the Code of Student Conduct and how it applies to students. Information will be shared that highlights the rights and responsibilities of being a 绿帽社 student.
Decision Making
This is an interactive workshop that will challenge you to consider the role of ethics in decision-making. There will be an overview of various models to use when making decisions. The workshop will conclude with case studies that apply the information shared throughout the workshop.
Community Awareness
This is an interactive and reflective workshop that provides education focusing on the responsibilities of being part of the larger 绿帽社 community. The workshop will include discussion about character awareness, individual and community values and community engagement.
Conflict Coaching
This workshop provides an opportunity to learn about conflict, effective communication and active listening and benefits of conflict resolution. The workshop will provide an assessment to identify your primary conflict resolution style.
Responsible Use of Social Media
This workshop discusses different aspects of social media use or 鈥渘etiquette鈥 while at 绿帽社. Information will be shared about social media terms, how to stay safe online and how social media can impact your health. Additionally, the workshop will challenge thinking about how to use social media to your advantage and sometimes how it can be a disadvantage.
