Background

Kelly Bach, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, BCGP received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY. After graduation, she completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at St. Vincent鈥檚 Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.

Bach joined the Department of Pharmacy Practice at 绿帽社 School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2024. Prior to this, she was an associate professor of pharmacy practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for seven years. She also practices as a clinical pharmacist in general medicine at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, where she provides inpatient clinical pharmacy services as part of an interprofessional team. Her professional and research interests include scholarship of teaching and learning, transitions of care, and social determinants of health.

Outside the University, Bach is actively involved in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). She currently is the AACP Laboratory Instructors Special Interest Group Immediate Past Chair.

Kelly Bach is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), Board-Certified Critical Care Pharmacist (BCCCP), and Board-Certified Geriatrics Pharmacist (BCGP).
