Background
Alexi Zentner is the author of the novels Copperhead, The Lobster Kings, and Touch; under the pseudonym Ezekiel Boone, he also authored the internationally bestselling The Hatching trilogy, which includes the books The Hatching, Skitter and Zero Day, as well as The Mansion. He has two additional novels forthcoming.
Zentner鈥檚 short fiction, journalism and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Toronto Globe & Mail, The Atlantic, Tin House, Glimmer Train, The Southern Review, Guernica, PEN America and many other publications. His writing has been published in more than 16 countries and a dozen languages and has won or been shortlisted for numerous prizes. As a screenwriter, he is also a member of the WGA and has several projects under development for the screen.
He primarily teaches fiction and screenwriting, and is currently the director of graduate studies in English.
