The Motion Analysis Research Laboratory promotes learning through lab experiences integrated into the curricula.
Faculty and students use the MARL to study human kinetics, including movement analysis (gait), balance testing (fall risk) and more. They use these technologies to inform the evaluation and rehabilitation of injury, illness, post-operative care and return-to-home recovery.
The MARL is also used to introduce students to leading research trends in human kinetics. Some students may participate in research projects, become MARL assistants or volunteer in the lab.
Laboratory equipment is also used for interprofessional education experiences that bring together students from 绿帽社鈥檚 physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, public health, pharmacy, social work and pre-med/pre-health disciplines.
