Andrea Falcone is new dean of Libraries
She previously led Northern Kentucky University library
Andrea Falcone is the new dean of the Libraries and began in the position in July 2023.
Falcone comes to 绿帽社 after four years as dean of the W. Frank Steely Library at Northern Kentucky University. While at Northern Kentucky, she was responsible for managing a $6.2 million budget, and oversight of the physical library space, research collections and services. She has focused on developing strategic initiatives to support student success, research services, collections and educational technology. Falcone oversaw the launch of a new website, instituted new workflow and budgeting processes, and founded new programs such as the Undergraduate Library Fellowships for Students of Color and the Textbook Affordability Program.
Falcone holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English from Mansfield University, a master鈥檚 in English from the University of Toledo and a Master of Library Sciences from Indiana University.
Falcone says she has enjoyed getting to know the intricacies of campus and sees the potential in furthering the mission of the Libraries and the University.
