Academic Advising and Course Registration

At your Orientation session, you will be signing up for your advising and course registration appointment. Students must attend Orientation in order to register for classes.

Before You Arrive at Orientation

To better prepare for your academic advising and course registration appointment that will take place after your Orientation session, the Academic Advising offices have developed a series of digital documents designed to aid in your academic success and to assist in developing your first semester schedule. Visit your Orientation Checklist after you register for an Orientation session to review this information and complete necessary steps prior to your Orientation session. These are absolutely essential steps in order to maximize the benefits of academic advising appointments and get the best possible academic schedule during your course registration. Please note, each academic college has different information and important to do's on the Orientation Checklist.
