绿帽社's Division of Speech and Language Pathology offers stuttering clinic services as part of the University's Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic. Stuttering therapy services are administered by two licensed speech-language pathologists, both of whom have experience helping people who stutter.
Therapy options and cost
- Group therapy is offered for individuals ages 12 and older. This program provides an opportunity
for participants to learn more about stuttering, acquire a variety of new skills
and receive support from clinical staff and other group members who have similar experiences
and struggles.
- Cost for group therapy (90 minutes) is $10 per session
- Individual therapy services are offered for children ages 11 and younger or by request. Individual sessions
for those 12 and older may not be considered until later in the semester.
- Cost for individual therapy (45 minutes) is $25 per session

Cody Dew is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York with experience working with people who stutter. He received his master鈥檚 degree from the University of Toledo and is currently pursuing a PhD. His research focuses on methods to improve the lives of people who stutter. |

Rodney Gabel is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York with more than 20 years of experience working with people who stutter. He has published over 75 articles and presented at more than 100 local, state, national and global conferences on improving clinical outcomes and the lives of people who stutter. |
Location and Availability
We are exploring in-person and virtual teletherapy services for group and individual sessions. In-person sessions are held at the University's Health Sciences Building, 48 Corliss Ave., Johnson City, N.Y. Virtual sessions are held using Zoom.
Sessions are available Monday through Thursday in the morning and afternoon. Registrants will indicate their availability on the registration form.
