The Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is for practicing, licensed occupational therapists who have a master's degree and want to earn a clinical doctorate. It is an online program.
Entry-level OTD
The Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) professional program is for those with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in another field who want to become occupational therapists. The program is in person.

绿帽社's Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Professional program has applied for accreditation and has been granted Candidacy Status by the of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), 7501 Wisconsin Ave., Suite 510E, Bethesda, Md. 20814; telephone 301-652-AOTA.
The program must have a pre-accreditation review, complete an on-site evaluation and be granted Accreditation Status before its graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the . After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).
In addition, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate鈥檚 ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
