The Lourdes Youth Services DAASP Program (Detention Alternative After School Program) is an after school program that serves as an alternative to Detention Placement for children ages 12-16 yrs. Participants are referred by B.C. Probation or by PINS (Persons In Need of Supervision). The main principles of the program are that kids provided with after-school supervision (which many lack) and opportunities for personal growth, are less likely to engage in anti-social behavior.
