EduMate NYC is a grassroots organization that operates completely online. |
Since March 2020, EduMate NYC has provided online tutoring for New York City students experiencing particularly acute challenges during the pandemic.
Our grassroots community of undergraduate volunteers has served over 3,800 young students, the vast majority of whom are from low-income backgrounds, are immigrants or refugees, have disabilities, or are experiencing homelessness. Our efforts have been featured by publications including the Wall Street Journal and Chalkbeat.
