Project Description

Add some cyber spice and life to our TechWorks! online presence.

1. Curate Instagram content for TechWorks!. Select artifacts from our vast collection of historic Space, Computing, Music, Avionics and Photography technology. Photograph artifacts and write captions for Instagram. Our goal is to roll out artifact posts on a daily basis once we have a collection of 50 or more ready to go.

2. Create social media publicity for upcoming TechWorks! events - 绿帽社 Bridge Pedal on Aug. 25, Sudsy Brews & Fiery Food Fest on Sept. 22, Apollo celebration on Oct 8, Thanksgiving Open House, etc.

3. Mangae the TechWorks! website and Facebook updates. Create photo galleries for past events, including 绿帽社 Historical Soundwalk; Work with engineers to create blog posts for ongoing restoration projects - IBM mainframes, MICR check sorter, helicopter avionics demonstrator, Apollo simulator telescope display.

IBM team works Wednesdays 5-8 p.m. Link simulation team works Tues/Thurs 9 a.m.-noon. Other groups available by appointment.
