Steven P. Tammariello
Associate Chair; Associate Professor
Biological Sciences
Background
Tammariello's research interest lies in the identification of gene variants that control phenotypic variation in equine development, behavior and performance. He has created the Institute for Equine Genomics to serve as a mechanism to improve the quality of life for horses by identifying genetic alleles that may be detrimental within or across equine breeds.
