Background
O鈥橠onovan鈥檚 research focuses on 19th and 20th century urban America and industrial capitalism. She has also worked on 19th century rural farmsteads in the northeast and the 1969 site of the Woodstock festival in Bethel, New York. Her research interests include contemporary archaeology, power, landscape, class, digital humanities, and community engagement. Her recent research involves a digital humanities project that seeks to explore memory, meaning, and diversity in local heritage.
