Background
Miroff鈥檚 research focuses mainly on community organization of the people who lived during the Late Precontact period in the Susquehanna and Chemung drainages. She also conducts research on Late Archaic land use patterns in the Susquehanna Valley. Her research interests include the conduct of Cultural Resource Management in the Northeastern US, spatial analysis, lithic and pottery analysis, and public outreach and archaeology. Recently, she has been examining how archaeology can be used to teach youth STEM.
