Anthony Conta '08, MA '09, majored in economics because he was fascinated by behaviors that motivate people to take action. In his user experience (UX) design work, Conta enjoys getting inside the head of a person interfacing with a system, knowing what they're trying to achieve, and sometimes making it difficult on purpose.
LACAS celebrates 50 years
Latin American and Caribbean Area Studies is a transdisciplinary program that began in 1973, rooted in a national social movement by Mexican-American and Puerto Rican students that advocated for labor and farm workers’ rights, educational and racial equality, housing and welfare issues.
