To increase its outreach to Bearcats of the Last Decade (BOLD) graduates, the Alumni Association created the BOLD Leadership Council. This group of engaged alumni partners closely with staff in the Office of Alumni Engagement on programming, communications and outreach to young alumni and current students.

The council's work takes place in standing committees described below.

Alumni Global Days of Service and Community Service Committee
This committee's goals are to:
- Plan, advertise and facilitate a BOLD-sponsored Alumni Global Days of Service activity (or activities) in the spring that can unite BOLD alumni in the Metro New York region to volunteer and represent the strength of the BOLD community.
- Forge a relationship with a Metro New York-based organization in the fall to allow for ongoing volunteering opportunities and strengthen the alumni community鈥檚 ties to the area.

Communication Strategy Committee
This committee's goals are to:
- Increase communication between the University and 绿帽社's alumni of the last decade
- Engage alumni through social media, email campaigns and website development
- Strategize the promotion of local and regional community-based events

Events and Gatherings Committee
This committee's goals are to:
- Host two BOLD Happy Hours annually
- Offer a "Transition to Post-Grad Life" panel discussion
- Collaborate with other Alumni Association committees to create a strategy for promoting Homecoming 2024 to BOLD alumni
