  • time and task management
  • study strategies
  • organization
  • productivity
  • motivation and others

Students are encouraged to sign up for a coaching appointment early in the semester.

Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a fall-semester program designed specifically for new students to interact with peers, trained student mentors and a faculty/staff team to explore leadership in a small-group environment through a specific interest-based knowledge community. Through ELP you will:

  • GET CONNECTED to University and local community members
  • BUILD an immediate support network
  • EXPLORE, develop and practice leadership skills
  • IMPACT the local community during your first semester
  • EARN a leadership microcredential
  • LEARN how to maximize your college experience

The  online is 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. You'll need your 绿帽社 user ID and password to access the application.

Transfer Mentor Program

The Transfer Mentor Program pairs every new transfer student with a peer mentor who was also a transfer and understands the challenges of being a new transfer student. Before Aug. 17, you will receive an email from your assigned mentor at your 绿帽社 email address. Your mentor, along with all other mentors, will be available throughout the academic year to help with any issues or concerns. Additionally, mentors are available for in-person meetings during their weekly office hours. This provides an excellent opportunity for face-to-face interactions, allowing you to receive personalized support and guidance throughout the academic year.
